Each piece is sold individually and made to order.
These simple picks are forged for optimal usefulness to the discerning pipe smoker. One end is forged to a sharp pick while the other is formed into a flat paddle. Each item can be custom tailored to your particular needs. Choose from a bent or straight pick for cleaning the deeper recesses of your favorite pipe. You may also choose the paddle shape, selecting from the choice of a rounded or scalpel shape. If you have special requests, message me and I will be happy to help.
Each piece is forged from mild steel and hot-seasoned using neutral, food-safe oil (typically canola, vegetable, or beeswax). The surface created is naturally non-stick and can be consistently "re-seasoned" to ensure a lifetime of use. I re-season mine using the open flame of a camp torch or a gas cooktop until lightly smoking then applying a thin layer of food safe oil, wiping away any excess after a few seconds. To clean, simply apply some heat with a lighter to an end caked on with grime or resin, then wipe away with bathroom tissue. When properly cared for, these picks will last more than a lifetime: an end-all be-all for your pipe pick needs.
